________________________________and now for my rambling part... i know, i know if you dont want to hear me ramble you can just scroll down and check the freebie. but this is just short so, please read :) hehe!
well, we went to Al Ain this Thursday. We went to visit one of our colleagues who is now confined at Al Twam Hospital (please pray for her, she has cancer and currently undergoing chemotherapy). Al Ain is about 170kms away from Dubai. Its much more peaceful because there is less people, less tall buildings. Probably when the clock strike 6pm, everybody is asleep! hehe! here are some pix I have taken. Not so good pix because I was just inside the car. If it wasn't 43 degrees outside and we were not in a hurry I would literally ask the driver to pull over so i can get some pix.
on the way to Al Twam Hospital. They have lots of these rocky mountains.
that is the mosque which is color beige :) behind are some commercial buildings. and that's a car. the spherical thing - i don't know.

And I feel for your friend. My officemate was diagnosed when we were about to get married. 6 years na syang cancer survivor.
I hope your friend is blessed with strength of body and mind. I will definitely pray for her.

ahoy... saw your pix of al ain. your passing by sanaiya road. we passed there everyday to work and back to our house. and the intersection where you find the globe, that is a monument to let you know that you're entering the industrial place in al ain. as you get a closer look at that globe, you'll find bolt & nuts, and it stands on a tractor's chain wheel.
