A Beach Life

One thing that I love about living in Dubai is how near we are at the beach. Its just a 15 minute drive to Jumeirah. The place where the famous Burj Al Arab stands. That is the building that you will always see behind us. Here are some pics that we have and it's Nico's 2nd visit!

nico's first beach visit

we went to the beach yesterday and it was nico's first time. he finally able to smell and taste salt water :) i did not prepare for it and i did not buy any swimming trunks for him so most of nico's picture was butt naked and i don't want to post it here :) anywho, here are a few of the pics we have :)

Love at First Cuddle and a Challenge

There are so many times that I have fallen in love and one of it is when I first held Fei and Nico. It is one of the happiest days of my life. I would never forget that moment.

i really need to learn how to take pictures when the lightsource is against the camera. these pictures were very dark and im thankful once again to photoshop because i can manipulate them and look like they were perfect! :) :) :)

this is our sunday afternoon. we were able to go home earlier from work because its easter sunday. had QT with my nico and fei. by the way, did you do some egg hunting? i hope you had a great time with your family this special occasion :)

morning walk

Nico woke up at 530am and after a few minutes Fei is saying good morning to me and is hungry. This is a Friday. Our first day of weekend here. Usually I would be getting up at 8am but with a 4 month old baby and a 4 yr old girl, everything is unpredictable. What do I do now? I guess, make the most out of it. I took them for a walk around the block and it was a wonderful moment with just the three of us. Fei talked the whole time. She told me that she only love pink and purple cars, that summer is hot and the sun is color white. She asked me why my belly is still big but it doesn't have a baby anymore, why it was windy and why she should not kill the ants :) It was a fun moment with them. Definitely something I should be doing more. I recommend you do it too. A child's mind is genuinely disarming.

The morning walk would not be complete without pictures. I took these with my camera phone only so pardon me with the grainy pics.

To be part of Songbird Avenue even for one month is a very big honor, so when Jan (co-founder) asked me to sponsor for the month of April, I quickly said yes! To be designing along with the Queen of Quirk, Meredith Fenwick, Amy Wolff and Janet Philips is something I would always remember forever.
