Wow! We are half way done with January. Boy, that was fast! During winter here in Dubai the most awaited sale is the Dubai Shopping Festival. Almost all shops are on sale. Literally, they will break your budget. Up to 80% off on every store and then a car giveaway everyday for a month! People get crazy here during this month. I think this is the equivalent of Black Friday Sale but its extended for 30 days! I'll show you pictures of all the red tags I see here.

On another exciting news. I scrapped! I wish I can keep this. For the past 3 weekends, I have been scrapping and taking pictures. Here are my layouts for the week :) TFL!

Version 5.0

Last weekend, we took Fei and Nico to Creek Park to do our family tradition. We would take pictures of Fei on the same spot to know how much she has grown. This time it's more special because Nico is included in it. This will be our fifth year and its so nice to look at the pictures side by side and see the difference. 

Let us see the past pics...

I miss how I can carry Fei so easily on one arm. Now, I have to break a bone or many bones just to carry her.

I miss her long straight hair. I love her short wavy hair.

Happy New Year!!!

First post for the year 2011 and I have layouts to show! Woohoo! I have scrapped less and less this past few weeks because I have been resting my wrist. Now, I think its going back to normal but I should still be careful. 

We spent our New Year watching the fireworks at Burj Khalifa (aka the tallest building in the world). It was beautiful and very moving but I would have enjoyed it better if we were able to get a place in front of the building or inside the premises. Since it was JAM PACKED we settled at the other side of the street. It was fun and exciting because it was my first time ever to spend the new years eve outside. I didn't expect so many people to come out. Ive read that there were almost 500 thousand spectators. Here are some photos of the fireworks :)

This is a two-pager layout. I have to isolate the last picture because it was HI-LA-RIOUS! And please don't be alarmed. Nico is not hurt in any way :)
